As a result, if you are Polish, have Polish roots or just an interest in the country you are strongly encouraged to join. Joining the Society
All current and former members of Oxford University (student or staff) and all persons whose names are or were on the University’s Register of Visiting Students are eligible to join the Society.
The Committee, at its discretion, may admit to membership anyone not fulfilling the above requirement provided that non university members shall not constitute more than one-fifth of the total membership.
Society membership costs £5 per academic year.
Joining the Committee
If you are interested in getting more involved please don’t hesitate to come and talk to us. We are always keen to listen to new ideas and meet new people. If you are prepared to take on a larger role think about standing for a Committee position at the end of the academic year. Elections will be advertised on the Mailing List and website in advance, so you will have plenty of time to think it over.
Joining the Committee means that you will be able to make a direct impact on the way the Society works and gain some invaluable team work experience. To find out more please contact one of the current Committee members or take a look at our Constitution if you want to get the whole picture.
